Red Nose CD

on:Just in case you’ve listened to your goody bag CD and we’re wondering who the bands and artists were here’s a list.
I haven’t embedded a link to their sites but if you Google them they’re all on My Space etc.
The Transpersonals / Official Secrets Act / Caitlyn Hessell / Ya Kiez / Papa La Bas / King Tide / Forty Thieves Orkestar / Amycanbe / K Anderson / Schwab / Nell Bryden / Lack of Afro / Amp Fiddler / Officer Kicks
If you liked what you heard and enjoy discovering new sounds then have a look at TunA the Day.
You get 3 tracks a week to listen to (plus a bit of nonsense from me) and we cover music for all tastes. Best of all it’s 100% free to join.
Cheers Ade
And finally

on:It’s 2:10 on Saturday morning. I’ve just got back from The Phone Room and found that my daughter has decided to sneak into my bed, so before I get some shut eye (in hers) and just wanted to a MASSIVE THANK YOU to everybody that worked on the phones and off them.
I thought it went really well and I hope you all had good fun.
We totaled over £78,000 in donations which is bloody brilliant.
This blog will remain live for the next few days so if you’d like to comment and have a look at the jokes and pics at your leisure then please do.
Right, I’m off to bed.
X Ade

on:I was just about to blog about us being let down by technology and having to take paper donations, but it seems we’ve been spared and we are back online.
But we were ready and that’s what counts. Dunkirk spirit and all that, well done chaps!!
